Lindsey and Thomas, the Wedding!

It was soooo nice to head up to 7700 feet to the lodge at Mt. Charleston and to escape the heat here in Las Vegas. Lindsey and Thomas tied the knot this past Saturday and I was lucky enough to be their photographer:). It was such a great setting and the views were beautiful. I’m still working hard and getting through all the photos, but wanted to share a few…

Congratulations you two!

The awesomeness of the canon 85mm 1.2IIL

I know its been a while since I’ve posted anything! However, the wait will now be over with a flood of new stuff!  I’ve been wanting to try the 85mm 1.2IIL and with Lindsey and Thomas’s wedding tomorrow I couldn’t resist renting one.  So I ordered one, along with a canon 5d, from lensrentals.com, who I highly recommend!   I couldn’t just wait till tomorrow so I packed up the family and headed out the dry lake bed (one of my favorite locations).  The kids had a blast as you will see from the photos and I did as well, not to mention, how great it is to be shooting ISO:100 at 1/1600 after sunset!! Gotta love F/1.2:):):)  Anyway, like I was saying earlier you will be in for some real treats the next few weeks. I have also manage to merge the 20,000 photos I have on my computer to one folder and am getting around to going through them, If I find anything interesting I’ll be sure to post it. As always if you like, or don’t like, what you see PLEASE leave a comment!

With Love,

Les Rose

A Day in Santa Fe

So the family and I are visiting the Kristin’s parents in Santa Fe, NM. The kids really wanted to ride a train so we drove down the freeway and jumped on the Rail Runner a few stops out of the city. It was a 30 min train ride that would have only taken 5min if we had driven straight there! Oh well, the boys had fun riding the train, and we had a good day walking around the plaza! Here’s a few photos from the trip._mg_00211_mg_0022_mg_0056_mg_0071_mg_0107_mg_0144_mg_0102_mg_0022
